No production order is complete till it has boarded a vessel or
aircraft en-route towards its final destination and proper
documentation is dispatched. This department coordinates with buyers
regarding letter of Credit and other documentation and then after goods
have departed from
Dominion Re-inspection Facility, provides complete logistical support to
the manufacturer and forwarder. Buyers are updated on vessel / aircraft
schedules and are advised when and how documents have been dispatched.
This information is also provided online for each dispatched purchase
order and clients can check the status of the documents in real time
from the respective courier's websites. For this purpose, the Dominion Apparels
Online Order Tracking Software has been linked directly with the
courier websites. The Shipping and Documentation department oversees
the order till the time of its safe arrival at the Customers warehouse
overseas.
For customers who require electronic packing lists and bar-coded
cartons, Dominion Apparels is fully equipped to receive and process
electronic data for price tickets, individual license plates for each
carton and electronic packing lists. Scanning of selected cartons on
the customers website is also offered to ensure accuracy of product
upon arrival.
